my name is ursula and i am the designer for modaspia, a line of clothing for women and children. i live with my husband and two children in a small town in the sierra foothills of california.

i feel very passionate about modaspia, now in it’s tenth year. my aim is to create clothing that becomes a keepsake, something that stands the test of time. my favorite styles are very simple but with an excellent fit and cut from a high end fabric. i work mostly with cotton, linen, silk and wool – fabrics with a soft hand that wear well. most of these fabrics are remnants that come from italy originally and are of the very highest quality.
